????rear open valance or 4 mo??

i was on performance-cafe.com and was checking out the rear valances. my question is, what is the difference. it looks like the 4motion rear valance has a bigger opening than the regular. can some one educate me on this please?

i wanna know too. i have an '02 without the cutout and i'll need to be getting a rear valence with a cutout when i install my CB and DP soon.

im with sunny i dont have a cut out either

The 4-motion comes on all vr6 24 valves and some 1.8t's It's a cutout about 6-7 inches across and 4 inches in height. I have an 04 24v and I've seen it on 03's too. :tup2:

after some researching, i found out that the 4 motion rear valance has a little lip at the rear. as for the regular, it only has the opening. take a look at this pic. this is a molded 4 motion, which i so want to do now. http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~jfekete/Jetta/IMG_86.jpg

same size exhasut cut out the 4mo is different because instead of tapering inwards towards the tires it goes more straight downward to the ground giving the rear end a "lower" look
