Well the condtions were not pefect, adjusted alt was 4k-5k feet during my runs.

Here are my runs.

Did 1 shake down run only going wot in 3rd gear from 3k rpm, trap was 116 in 3rd gear.

Runs in order

1.872 60 ft(no launch control)
8.025 1/8th
94.768 mph
12.031 1/4
123.003 mph

1.865 60 ft(no launch control)
7.857 1/8th
96.676 mph
11.843 1/4
124.468 mph

1.732 60 ft(4500 rpm launch control)
7.628 1/8th
95.676 mph
11.781 1/4
118.842 mph (short shifted to 4th gear putting me out of my power band)
:(

1.642(5k rpm launch control)
7.731 1/8th
93.589 mph
11.716 1/4
121.821 mph
Smacked the rev limiter in 1st gear a few times.

In all I think it was a good day at the track and cant wait to get back to Fontana or SAC to see what the car will really do in better conditions.

Each of my shifts went right into gear like butter thanks to the JH Motorsport "solid" short shifter kit, shifter linkage upgrade and some new bushing upgrade that removed any movement of the shifter box which I was testing out on the B5 A4 for the first time for them. My shifts never felt better and it got to the point that I didn't even have to think about where the shifter was going when making a gear change.

The view that the guys running against me.

Back then the car was making 488whp on the same dyno it just made 556whp. The car is 100 lbs lighter now too. My old best time at LACR was 11.8 at about 118 mph with a 1.55 60 ft time and no issues during the run. Car feels much quicker now then it did back when it was making 488whp.

Very Cool, I was out there yesterday at LACR with the only TT running at the strip so you probably saw me! I saw you run, very sweet times man. All in all a great time, this was my first time ever racing my TT, hard to get the launch down. I don't have my timeslips here but my best two runs were a 14.7x, 14.7x @ about 94.5...with a 2.0x 60ft.

Pretty good times for it being your first time. You were the only TT running down the track? I know the guy with the delrio setup was there but I am suprised to hear he did not make any runs.

thanks, i've gone down the 1/4 before but never in a manual shift car, its so much easier drag racing an automatic =)

I did about 8 passes, the whole time wanting to keep running back to back but also afraid of abusing the clutch since its my daily driver.

I wanted to see the Del Rio car run, but he was parked the whole time.

That car looked like it was running good. My friend friend wanted your car as soon as she saw it on the track.
