My TT has a problem with burning oil very quickly, i top it off with a quart or two every 1-2k miles or so. on sunday driving home my oil light came on so i decided to add another quart. when i go to check the dipstick after adding the oil, the orange tube that you slide the dipstick into broke off about 10 inches down. basically i can't drive my car because i have an open hole in my oilpan!
My question is: should this be covered under the CPO warranty that i have? It is not a wear and tear item and should probably never break, but i dont want to deal with towing my car into the dealership just for them to tell me they can't help me. anyone have any ideas? i know it would be a PITA for me to fix it because i would have to remove so much of the car (i think).

that makes me feel better, i was worried i would have to pay out the ass even though it is such a simple part

you can drive it, worst is a CEL for a vacuum leak, its a cheap part and easy DIY, like 2 min fix.
