question about memory sticks

say for instance on average how many songs will a 128mb stick hold on it. i know it depends on the song length but im just asking about average...

lol...depends on the song lenth and the bitrate

on mp3 players i usually compress the songs down to like 96kbps(cuz with headphones u dont notice a loss in sound)
but u should get around 30-40songs

That could be at least 1000 songs if they were each 4mb each

like ted said it depends on the bitrate as well - which should average around 192 for good quality - songs average about 4-5mb each - so do the math
