Well okay maybe not first official but I'd like to get some going on down here.

I'm looking to unite the East County and South Bay Socal Euro members.

I'm thinking we can get a feeler gtg for the first one to be on Thursday May 31, 2007 starting around 6:30PM.

The location is the L n L's BBQ on Sweetwater RD. There is a BIG parking lot where we can gather. If you're not into Hawaiian BBQ, there's also a Subway and a Pizza Hut and even a Denny's all in the same shopping center.

Hopefully we can get a good gather going on for the summer and build something for us South / East county.

Support from the usual SCE GTGer's to get this started and attract attention would be great!

We will be parking between the L n L's and the Denny's. It should be able to attract people in that parking lot since it's in a more open space. I'm getting excited!

For those of you guys that are going to be rollin through a little late, don't worry I'm sure we'll still be around. We hang out at Fusion till about 10 or so. So yeah! Come on out guys and gals!

The parking between LnL's and Denny's is usually okay. The parking right in FRONT of LnL's does suck. I'll be there with a few friends a little early to attempt to save the spots haha.

I noticed your info says Eastlake. Just to confirm we're meeting at the one near Denny's and Pizza Ht on Sweetwater Rd. Not the one in Eastlake.

But to answer your question they close aroun 9 I believe.

just a heads up: for those who live near this area will know...the National City PD likes to cruise through these parking lots as well as grab some coffee from Starbucks. Not trying to be a pooper, but lets be on our best behavior. i would hate to ruin this on our first attempt.

not gonna say any names, but a local car club ruined a good meet spot in the same parking lot.

I just got home from the meet. A few of us went to Super Sergios across the street for some mexican food since they didn't get to eat at LnL's.

Overall I'd like to thank everyone who came out. There were WAY more cars than I expected. This will be a bi-weekly meet maybe relocated around the same area though due to so many pig frequenting the parking lot. I would say there were about 15-20 cars there, a few first timers.

Can't wait till next time!
