well they aren't for me :) i have a couple benchmades already... picked them up for a buddy. and yes US made... though not all are US produced. Black, Gold, Blue series benchmades are US made, red = taiwan. Lower end knives, still nice just not as nice hehe.

Yes, I used to sell Benchmades at GI Joe's when I worked the Reel and Gun Counter in Portland. My fav maker. I used to take my dulled knives to thier Factory/office and they'd have it like brand new in just a couple hours. I remember when they had the special edition collectors Osbourne. Was like $200 or so, came with a sweet case. Wish I had the cash to collect more, including the 1911 pictured above ;) Sweet pics Paul!
yeah those osborne list at 200, most online retailers carry them for ~130-150. :)

Benchmade knives are BEAUTIFUL.... I was heavy into them and really wanted to get a Benchmade Balisong (Butterfly knife) as apart of my Filipino heritage... But.. I want to save money...
Here's a few of my favorites and a sig I made... Hope I'm not hijacking the thread.

i got a benchmade pardue the auto one. military law enforcement only. its so tight. paid $180 for it but totally worth it. if you know someone in the military give them cash and have them buy you one... way cooler than any of the other knifes.
