Just wanna let you guys know about our monthly Audiforums.com gtg. our next one will be this Sunday, June 3rd, at the Spectrum in Irvine.

I will be coordinating the cruise/caravan from San Diego if anyone is interested in joining.

we'll be meeting at the Boomers in the corner of Clairemont Mesa Blvd and hwy 805, at 9:45am, we leave at 10am and hopefully be there on time at 11am in Irvine.

Two things we reccomend bringing 1) a Good Friendly Attitude 2) a love for Audi's....... and an Audi would help too.

if anyone is intersted, pls post or pm me and i'll give you more details or answer any questions.

Thanks

Bah, oh well.
On my way home from the 5, there was this giant line of JDM on the freeway.
Super riced out, purple, lime green cars with giant wings, cheap ass wide-body kits and coffee can exhausts.
Then there was a, sadly, riced out A3 right in the middle of them.
Most of them didn't like my license plate though.:p

JDM cars do not have wild body kits and giant wings. Those cars you saw may be riced out but there's a different between that and real JDM. I own a JDM ek9 and in no way is it riced out or have a coffee can exuast or a giant spoiler. JDM cars are mostly simple and clean like an add on lip kit and stuff. Not that wide body kinda cars you'll see in the shows with 80% of the car being bondo wide body. Not to hate on you but just letting you know there's a difference between most riced out cars out there and a real quality JDM car.

I have an A4 and love it and a JDM car. I am just an all around car enthusiast and dont descriminate on others likings or by what they drive.

He didn't say there isn't such a thing as a clean JDM. In general most JDM on the street is rice. And I 100% agree with that statement. And I, like you, have respect for any cleanly done car and its enthusiast. But you just put words in his mouth.... ah well..

Rawkus_A4
06-05-2007, 07:39 PM
Didnt mean to put words in his mouth.
My point being, rice=http://www.socaleuro.com/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=4434

And my JDM ek9 at the eibach meet last month http://www.socaleuro.com/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=4435

If you think my ek9 is riced out then you dont really know what JDM is. Didnt mean to start an argument though. My bad

Sorry to insult, but the fact is 80% of the cars I passed had JDM sticker plastered all over them.
Same thing happens with euro cars: There are dirty dubs and there are clean dubs, but a dub is a dub.
