I ran out of space on my laptop, so I am moving all my music to an external hard drive. I moved all the music to the new folder, and now I need to make iTunes look for the music in that folder. I looked around the internet but apple.com is useless for Windows info (unless it's hidden on their website) and most other sites either don't say that their how-to is for Windows. I went into Preferences and changed the folder to the external drive, and when I copy a CD, it copies to that new folder, but I don't think iTunes is looking there when my iPod is hooked up.
Can someone point me towards a how-to, specifically for windows. Or if you know the steps to fix me, off the top of your head, that would be great,
