I got mine in the garage still, I'm going to turn it into a hood ride with a big ass motor.

Then I got the 58 rag that I restored for my mom a few years back, when she gets sick of it, bam 2275 with 48IDA's and a drop with some BRM's

I bought it about 7 years ago, I was tuning the webers on by brothers 64 when the guy who lives down the street where the white truck is in the picture walked by. We started bullshiting about old bugs and he invited me down to his garage.

He had this sitting inside his garage since 1979, he bought it from the lady accross the street then, where it had sat since 1968 when her husband died. It had 63K miles on it. I put in a new 40 horse, the 36 horse was long gone. Split case box was good, I put in a new beam, brakes, bearings suspension, I did all the mechanical. I had it resprared inside and out the original Agave green with white interior and green carpet. It has OG squareweave german carpet, bamboo parcel shelf, and some other goodies, its my moms now but I have first dibs to get it back.
