FEELER: Big g2g on July 8th to replace Dubwars :o

as you all may know.. Dubwars isnt very exciting especially if you have gone thepast 3 years.. events being withdrawn last second, lack of vendors.. etc.

well this year I figure me and a few friends wanna party bigger than dubwars !!

So far me and a few friends have decided that Dubwars just dont cut it... so we haev decided to go one step further and have a Huge g2g day of.


free entrance
free cars to look at
free space to park

it will most likely be a beer drinkin fest as well as BBQ. BYOF BYOB (i do not condone drinkin and driving) the place is still disclosed but it will be a nice spot to be at. more info very soon

I wanna know how many socaleuro'rs are interested in skippin dubwars if this event sounds more interesting to ya

could be a possibility.. but we were thinkin a spot where if u wanna fish u can fish.. plenty of shade all around.. BBQ pits u can use to cook up your own meats..

To be honest, I don't do Dubwars, I go to the pre-party, but its all the same cars you see week in and week out at other GTG's and along with the stuff you mentioned, hot as hell, no shade.

I could be in, lets get a place close to the water and keep the temps down, say like Bolsa Chica beach by Huntington, big ass parking lot, beach, fire rings for bon fires..... or maybe Dana Point..............

Just a thought... Calling it the Anti-dubwars GTG seems a little sketchy.

The people that put dubwars on spend alot of time and energy doing it. It just seems a little mean to post up an Anti-Dubwars GTG. It sounds less like an alternative to dubwars and more like an event to put Dubwars under.

its not really anti dubwars though is it? i mean i went to dubwars last year and was not very impressed at all. just something in place of it?

well its an alternative to the uber expensive dubwars.. and i am not impressed with dubwars at all.. and i think gettin a bunch of people together elsewhere would be funner.. so if ur not goin to dubwars come to this g2g

Can call it anything you want since dubwars events have just been going down hill since it left buttonwillow. Less venders, less events and smaller tracks. Not exactly how george thinks he is going to keep people coming to his events with the way things are going. At this rate he might as well turn it into a "road racing" track event since thats the only thing he is having any more.
