I am now looing for some charging stations so I dont have to change the batteries so much. I have found two that I am looking at, but I am open to other suggestions.

The main difference I have found with the two I am looking at is that one has a grip pad on the back of the battery pack cover and the base plugs into the wall for power, while the other has a smooth battery cover plate and the base plugs into the usb port for power (you have to use the supplied cover for contact points).

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these or any charging staions.

NYKO (wall outlet/grip) (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Nyko-Charge-Station-for-Wii-87000/sem/rpsm/oid/175286/catOid/-16761/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)

INTEC (usb plug/smooth) (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Intec-Charge-Station-for-Wii-G5642/sem/rpsm/oid/176997/catOid/-16761/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)

one of the concerns I have is that if it plugs into the USB does it need the system to be on to power the charger? Or, does it have a passthrough for the USB connection?

any help would be appriciated.

thanks,
Tony

I also just came across this this one

JOYTECH (http://www.nintendolife.com/articles/2006/11/17/joytech_announce_accessory_line_for_nintendo_wii)

it looks like it is also a USB powered unit
