Here's a moon shot using my Sigma 70-300mm. Slight crop and a little ps work to clean it up some.

ISO 400, f/8, 1/500 sec.

Crispy! I did one a few weeks back...not as big though and cause I still need to learn how to get that fking detail in the shot...

I like that shot Richard! That would be a nice lens to have. I'm thinking about getting a 1.4x teleconverter so I can get a little more reach. I just worry about losing those stops.

use a tripod if you have to bump your aperature up

also note that putting a t-con on your sig 70-300 will also lose autofocus.
