Get a V8.
(Yeah, I know. Dumb joke from a guy with 4 lagging turbos)

run a super chager or a smaller turbo
Do you have a stock turbo car?
If you do, then the only way to spool faster
then that is either nitrous, or maybe you just need a
Mustang :bump:
most turbos lag, If you want big power up top, then you make a sacrafice on the bottom end. If you want less lag, you go with a smaller tubo in different trim and get torque, but at the expense of top end.
So pick your poison, A centrifical charger like a Vortech, is basically a belt driven turbo and subject to the same laws. When my MK2 VR with VF's stage 2 would come on boost, all hell (and tires) broke loose, even in the top of second gear.
My 2.0FSI has a ton of torque, but boost falls off after around 5500
A roots style blower makes all its power down low, instant boost off idle
With the way turbo technology has changed in recent years, Garret already has one, the TDI has one, the 997TT has one, veriable nozzle turbo, so you can get a pretty damn flat power band from a turbo
