So those of you who know about my endless turbo failures...............

ok, heads went to the shop this week, today I get the call........valve job :(
It just went from 300 to 800 dollar job. oh well, car does have 85k on it and I certainly DO NOT want to have the engine pulled AGAIN any time soon. And what's another several hundred dollars at this point? aarrrggghhh!!!!!!

ok, I'll stop venting now.

Yep, car will haul ass and be solid when I 'm done. I'll probably have spent ove 5k when I get her back.

Alan, like I told ya earlier, the 4000 is going to be track prepped, it's just a matter of time and $$$! heh, like anything else right?

oops, forgot to say about the valve job, valves looked so-so. I probably coulda had 'em resurfaced and tossed 'em back in, but with the miles on the car and the motor coming out 4 times in 12 months, I figure I want it to be solid.

Sucks. I saw your car last time I was up at Mike's (about 3 weeks ago) and he told me about the heads. Just take a ride in Mike's/Ari's Imola car and you'll feel better about things. That car is rediculously fast. We were driving in that car in the rain and in 2nd gear @3000 rpm, Mike floored it and spun all four tires. If your car is anywhere near as fast as that car is you will be a very happy camper.

I know Dan, I am positive I'll be real happy when she's back. It just sucks when you've only driven your car for 2 weeks outta the last 4 months :(

Hopefully heads are done tomorrow and then Mike will have it finished up in a week or so!!! Everyone cross their fingers for me!!
