when I first saw the preview, yeah Godzilla came to mind... I looked it up the next day, and apparently the movie's fake name is Cloverfield USA, and it's a monster movie with this giant paraite... Sounds very interesting!

No, there is a direct quote on one of those sites from the writer or producer that it is NOT Godzilla, but a movie about a "parasite" as my brother stated. Looked pretty cool though

so smart to have it run during transformers. there was this nerd behind us with braces, optimus prime is my buddy t-shirt and of course....braces and coke bottles. Thing was, he was about 30...when megatron came out, he nearly wet himself.

Hmm If it was another war of the worlds movie, i'm pretty sure there'd be more than one "thing" doing all that damage.

Adter doing a bit more reading... with the amount of crap and flooding of other senseless n00bs like us pondering what the hell we just watched.... Something tells me that the lines will break world records and sales will shoot the hell up... Due to the fact that you're not a people person, you hate standing in long lines, you hate not having 5 empty seats on either sides of your party, and you hate staying up till 3am watching a movie; you pretty much didn't go to the premiere. Moreover, after the premiere, everyone will be talking about it, you won't be able to go in one single corner of the world w/o hearing two or more people screaming loudly about how fbloody fucking awesome the movie they just saw was... Or how much of a rotting corrugated piece of shit it was. Lines will be long, seats will be packed for atleast a week or two like all other blockbusting movies. So by the end of the second week, you're ready to watch the movie... Sadly, after watching the movie, you've realized you've "seen" the movie already because of all the idiots screaming spoilers.

However... I will try my best to avoid all these people spoiling the movie... But I want to see it.
