my phone looks exactly the same but is a diff model. I have the treo 680 and it effin blows. .3megapixel camera, it freezes at times, it's HUGE! and the touch screen can get very annoying at times. especially when trying to drunk-dial, or maybe i just have fat fingers. videorecorder is no better, and it uses the big SD memory cards instead of the micro SD, which i have a 4gig left over and now need an adapter. STAY AWAY FROM THE TREOS!!!! but gluck with urs anyway.

I've said this on other phone topics on here. If you get a treo you have to be accepting that you are not gong to like it off the bat. I started with a 650 which was the worst phone ever. I ended up buying about $60 in programs to make it a good phone, as soon as I did that I was able to learn how to use it and loved it.
I have a 680 now and have had nothing but great things. Have you done the update for it? I had some issues with random character showing instead of the cingular name in the upper left corner. I did their update and have not had a problem since. The phone is great . . . if you want a camera, buy a phone that is built around the camera. I fyou want phone that you can operate seamlessly along side your e-mail and business then get a treo.
It's huge?? Dude, you knew that before you bought it, a little late to complain now. It takes normal SD card . . . again, maybe more research before you buy a phone. Don't knock a great phone because you didn't research it before you bought it. Just from your couple of comments, you may have been better off with some Sony Ericson phone with a good camera, or even that LG that is a camera and has a flip our qwerty.
Your mini SD when you bought it probably came with an adapter BTW, since MSD is not a standard yet.

well said, and yes his phone shoulda came with the adapter for that mini sd. my treo uses mini sd tho and so far, no complaints and it functions well.

Volume Care (http://software.treoaddicts.com/product.asp?id=2158) is a necessity on treos unfortunately.
I just got a program called iPhoney (http://blog.treonauts.com/2007/01/treo_software_i.html), it is the iPhone screen, fully functional!!
Mundu IM (http://www.geodesic.com/htm/products/mundu_palm.htm) is another good program for instant messaging instead of texting, it is a live instant messeger. I think the 755 comes with a program but I'm not sure which one it is. I know from first hand experience that this one works great (a lot like trillian for your PC)
Minibar (http://www.freeware-palm.com/download-minibar-v3-0.html) is cool, tells you how to make drinks.
FileZ (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=1&jid=XFBDB81A92524EF7218F51X455FXE46F&platformId=1&N=96804&productId=15939&R=15939) is a better program manager.
Flight Status (http://andrewsoft.net/products.html) Can give you real time flight info, for people like me that pick people up, or fly alot, this is a greta program. No longer have to wonder if the flight is delays or early.
PDA Net (http://www.junefabrics.com/palmnet/) I use this to get internet access on my laptop when there are no hot spots around. Just plug your phone into your laptop and open this program on your phone and BAM! Internet access. (Let's see your Iphone do that BIOOOOCH!!)
Alright, I'm tired of pasting links. Enjoy!;)

dialbyphoto (http://www.gx-5.com/products/dialbyphoto/) here is the google search link (http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&q=dialbyphoto&btnG=Google+Search) to it. you only pay the fee one time. since sprint applies $50 of credit to our account to buy things with every month, i'll purchase it if photobydial tells me it has expired.

I saw that phone, I don't have T-Mobile, but I dodn't like how the windows platform operated. And it doesn't link well with our work server, so it was a no go. But . . . I would prefer that phone over any blackberry!!

Hey GTi_01, I have sprint and am looking to upgrade to this phone. How does it work with Sprint Vision? Does it have a separate browser for internet?
GTi_01

it runs off of powervision. minimum mrc is $15 a month. you can still view tv on it, watch videos (mpegs etc..), and throw tons of mp3's.
always keep the phone updated, backup files, and register at the palm site.
just like ALL pds phones, it will freeze. most of the time when it freezes is because of bad files or programs, but like i said.. always keep your stuff backed up on your computer.
Do you have that exact phone, and why do you hate it?
Touch screen no longer works, pocket talk-it, like 9 EMERGENCY CALLS in one drinking night, weight, shitty pictures, metal attracted to speaker enclosure...i can go on.
