Went out and finally gave into something I've wanted for years. I finally got myself onto a Raceable Road Bike. I've been looking for a Fuji Team SL on Ebay for awhile now. But in my Ebay lookings I found a small company called Leader. They're based out of SD. Called them up, stopped by their warehouse with Jon and well, I left there with an extremely good bargain.

It's a full Aluminum frame, full Carbon fork, and full Shimano Ultegra Component Grouppo.

Now Paul and I need more people to come out and ride around SD with us.

The question is, are you ready to learn how to build your new bike?

LeaderBikeUSA.com (http://www.leaderbikestore.com/pd_ld_736r3.cfm)

That was a demo bike, so the price was very good.

i think ~$1000

Mine cost $1000. It was a floor demo, hence part of the reason I went back twice. But that bike spec'd on their website is $1350.

Don't worry Jon, I have a nice Park stand already. Possibly have my new truing stand by the time you buy your bike so I'll be a full service mini Bike Shop.

I thought Paul's Fuji was a great deal. This thing is on par with it. I'm sold on the idea you don't have to pay Trek or C-dale 6k for a raceable road bike.

Wow, that's not a lot of spokes... Is there a weight limit to that thing?

Acctually wheels like that are just as strong as 32 hole wheels. The paired design creates a stiffer stronger wheel with less weight.

But there are ultra light race wheels that do have a 180lbs weight limit and are recommended for racing only.
