I had to cut away some of the the under hood liner to get the front bar to fit right. Me and ray test fitted the bar once at work and the hood lifted up a little. Now that i cut away some of the liner, it fits soooo much better!

Scrappy is half lowered! We got the front H&Rs in!
We tore apart the rear so we can do it tommorw. Its to late to run the air compressor so we had to call it a night.

Ray u where right, the front Driver side was the hard one. But it only took us about 10 mins to pull it a part. The front passenger side just slid right out. and so did the rears.

AND to top it off Sergio aready scraped the front bummer when he was backing the mini into the drive way to start on the rears. Im not going to be as low as yours, but i can scrap now!


Chicks love scrappy. We too him down PCH today to do some sight seeing and this chick in a truck next to us yelled out to me "I love your car" anf gave me a thumbs up :)

OOO and he's got a sexy negitive camber rear end now ... love that camber

I was going to go with the the kumho 711s since they where only 54 bucks each

But... Im working on soming with Nitto right now. So i might not have to pay for them at all. But thats still in the air.
maybe the NT555s, i had those on my 19s before. they where ok.

I just said f' it and ordered my tires today from tire rack! YAY!

I'm all most done with his suspention, i'm just waiting to get the rear controll arms.

after i get the suspetnion done... He goes in for some new bumps.

Once He gets his second oil change, i'll start messing with the engine a little more.

1: Tinted Tail lights and 3rd brake light (have to re-wire in bulb holders)
2: exhust
3: engine damper
4: Cooper gas door convertion
5: Hot air intake

well i got him back last night... He's not fully himself right now. Still missing a panel in the trunk that didn't get done last night... but the little f'er can hit hard bass now.. hahaha

Scrappy just got his first oil change today at 12,500 miles.. :)

I totaly let this slip my mind yesturday!!

OCT 3rd 2005 was the day Scrappy was officialy Concieved (placed order)!!

Yesturday marked the One year mark of the begaining of my MINI!!

Scrappy had a very eventfull weekend (thanks to Wes and Kellie)

- Rear Sway bar is in!!!!!
- Rear wiper deleted!!!

- Clutch is back to nornal ?!?!?!


About the clutch
On our way up the 18 highway, I was in fourth gear and i need to down shift to third. I put my foot on the clutch, pulled it out of 4th, and couldnt get it in to any gear!!! The petel sunk in to the floor. OMG,,, what the Hell happend!

So i took my foot off the clutch and put it back in and then i could shove it in to 3rd. WHY?!? I can shift now but my gears became rather tight and hard to get it. they stoped being smooth. SO i parked the car over night and the morning the clutch felt stiffer again, gears still felt ruff, but it was drive able.

As we kept diveing the home, the clutch got better and better. Now its back to normal again..

Larry said it sounded like my slave-cyclinder might be going


after taking it to the dealer..

And the verdict is......


Bad Slave cylinder!!!!!!!

Now i got to leave the car here over night and hopefully it will be done tommorw.

Tuesday, i'm taking to mini in to the dealer to check the clutch/slave cyclinder. AND taking the bent wheels in to get them fixed!

I bought the short shifter I've been eye'ing for the past month. I Duno if i'll keep that knob for long since i have the hott on i wanted already. I picked up the full kit , Short shifter, knob, and Shift Well Cover.

I really like the look of the set up, I saw it inthe photos that Griff posted a while back. I cant wait to get it.

Controll arms are in! and i did about 90% of it myself. Took me about 3 hours to do. That's including the 45 mins it took me to go to sears just to get a 3/8 exstintion so i can reach the top bolt. But I win! and no blood this time either!

Just installed the color matched tail's and third brake light YAY! I have one bad LED light for the light so i'm a little un-even on the lighting :( but my reverse lights still look good as hell! haha

I'll have to take photos tomorrow..since i forgot the camera :(

OK..He's been painted!! The belt line is no longer just vynle. YAY! no more peeling corners!

And i also ripped off the rear and front emblems and sprayed them black!

and I debadged the "cooper S" on the boot too!

i'll shoot some photo to in the morning


only thing left to paint are the door handles

Ans yes!! its still RED!! ahahah.. i love my red... but now its way darker and alittle more eviler :)

OO and i need a mu logo for the front emblem..lol

so here's my project for today.

A: that strut bar was a Biotch to take off. It was stuck! so i had to mess with it to get it off.

The intake only took a few mins to put in.

Then i decided to fix my damper. gowd that little thing is such a biotch to out in. Now its in there better and with a little bit of lock tite.

Scrappy is Rattle free!

As some may know and have heard, the resonator on the magnaflow went bad and started with a little rattle. but over the past month, it grew louder and well i had enough of the sound. So i took the car in to the same muffler guy that installed it and had him whack off the resonator and replace it with pipe.. lol

Scrappy doesn't sound like he has a penny in the exhaust any more. AND its no louder than before... and the guy only did it for $30 bucks!

My head lights have been "joey" modded and are back on the car. Its fun to bake your head lights.. lol

FYI- a friend of mine did them on his car and he told me how to do them.. this is his car.. the sexies mini in the world (http://rides.superstreetonline.com/ride/1000861/brain10/2005/mini/cooper/index.html)

With my head lights, I found a "weak spot" where the headlight washer was, not a glue weak spot, it was a place where i could get a screwdriver/ flat blade between the lens and the houseing, I used a flat peice of metel and a screwdrivers to keep open what i already pulled apart, I just worked my way around the light. I didnt have to bake them to get them apart, I did bake them to put them back together so that they would seal right.

Kellies, head lights have a glass piece that looks like a half of a circle, that was conected to the center crome houseing. That had to be removed from her's

u make it loud and mean looking!! i have lots of stright guy friends that have one...most of them track or race theirs because they know what these little cars can do, and looking behind the "ghey" factor takes a pretty secure with himself kindof guy.

Had a mishap on the way to work today. I hear and felt some thing fall from my engine and hit the under side of the mini. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw nothing and kept going. Then as traffic started to slow and i down shifted the whole engine just jerked really hard. As i shifted in to 1st and 2nd, it would jerk again. Well i was 29 miles almost to work and 49 miles from home. SO i called up Renner and drove scrappy slowly to the shop. I was waiting for the bad news that a motor mount broke and that i would have to leave him there over night untill they got the part...

BUT the motor mounts where still intact, the bolt just fell out of it!!! omg, thank you lord for making it an easy and cheap fix! and thanks to Ivo for saving my butt again!

Scrappy hasn’t had an update in months.

Yesterday he got some new suspension lovin and a small engine addition. I had the work done at MINICORSA:

Started grinding last night on the way home from work. Luckily I've had my new brakes and rotors siting in my room :)

Scrappy got another fix-it ticket today... this time for the tail lights.. lol they've been on the car for two years and it took him that long to get his first fix it on them. Thank gowd i have my stocks and it will be a cheap ticket :) ... untill next time.. hahaha

I just ordered new rotors and pads for my rears to match my fronts! yay!

scrappy is rolling getto for the next few days.

I took him to get an alignment & have his tires rotated and ballanced. As they took two of the wheels off, we discovered two huge spilits in the side walls :(. The place i go to doesnt have the wheels i have so they have to order them. And since i have to bent wheels i had them taken off to get fixed since i have to roll with my stocks wheels on the front while i wait for the new tires to come it, i thought i might as well get the two bent wheels fixed. He looks so getto with the stocks on the front and those "s" lite wheels are soooo heavy!

HAHA.. am I teasing you. It hatch is still at the shop getting painted. They've sprayed it 4 times and wet sanded it once. He wants to do one more coat, and it should be ready for pick up on sunday. I went to the shop today to check it out, Its sexy ;)
