So a bunch of us SAAB owners got fed up with paying $1200 a tune for our ECU's on our cars.
So we took the matter into our own hands and now we have a great collection of data and resources to get in and mod your own ECU's.
Come check one of the few Open Source ECU development SAAB sites out there at http://ecuproject.com .

Yeah its pretty silly how they corner the market like that. I am looking at the ME7 Motronic stuff right now and hopefully i will find some stuff for that as well.

Hmmmm on a 2004 9-3SS it may be teh GT-17 or it may be a TD04.... will have to check it out for sure.
The only thing we have an issue with is that there is no open T8 tuning yet. BUt not to say that it wont be done soon but you never know.
And Doug I am working on the 4.x motronic stuff but it is like getting blood from a turnip when it comes to people with Motronic experience to talk!!! But hang in there and I will figure out something.
