Volvo Cars of North America Reports Sales for July

IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Volvo Cars of North America, LLC reports July sales of 9,554 units in the United States,* down 7.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

Overall in North America (United States including Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico), 10,620 unit were sold. For the month, sales were down 6.1 percent year-over-year. Sales for Volvo in Canada and in Mexico were 848 and 218 units, respectively.

Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA), based in Irvine, Calif., is a subsidiary of Volvo Car Corporation of Goteborg, Sweden. VCNA provides marketing, sales, parts, service, technology and training support to Volvo automobile retailers in the United States, and oversees Volvo operations in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Yup...Ford is holding a couple losers....Jaguar's been in the red for a few years in a row now too.

Those numbers are likely the reason behind Volvo dumping the R line all together. :(

Too bad that they didnt count all the Fords running on Volvo chasis as sales too!

Good call Steve...like the Ford 500 which is doing well, so I hear..and using the Haldex AWD that my R has.

I bet the sales will go up a bit once the C30 hits the showrooms. :hitit:
