what i meant was that the cars probably didn't line up evenly, because in the video, it seems like the evo driver seat was almost lined up at the M3's engine bay. (Meaning the M3 was already behind to start with).

Looking at the numbers I can see how the M3 can take the Evo. Yes the EVO is about 150 lbs lighter and has more torque. But if you notice in the video the BMW got him on the top end were all the HP and TQ are at.
