so today i got to go to the track and help out with testing for my b-day, i love going to the track it beats going to the office...

12.7s it ran today, u have to launch in 2nd gear or the rpm's red light alike a mother

They're already in California. Have been for a while. I think the company selling them is out of Seattle or something. The only problems is you can't register them so they would be track only.

The company is out of Oregon. I met the guy, and his daughter, who is responsible for all build and maintenance of the Atom's at my three day race school. Tom Smurzynski. Very nice guy.
Anyways, he said that there are six in California, all registered with the special circumstance registration that only the first 500 people who register each year get. I forget the specifics.
He also said that most people in the US can expect to use the Ecotec motor because of Honda of America's lack of support for the Atom, while Chevy jumped on the chance to supply motors.

On a side note, while I am a fan of Honda and own stock, Honda of America sucks donkey balls and should be removed from the Honda family.
