2.9L clone on a mk4 ????

ok so theoretically could i get a machine shop to fab this all 2gether to form a big intake manifold like the mk3 2.9L cloned manifolds?

You could but I don't think you will be seeing much if any gain due to the different design of the MKIV intake to the MK3 intake. MK4 have a shifter rod which switches over at a certain rpm whereas the MK3's do not have a shifter rod. If you were running boost I would think you might notice some gains but on NA I doubt you would see anything.

what about boring out the throttle body? ive heard ppl mention it on the 'tex but havent seen much info on it
