please help me with my digital camera problem

ok when i turn it on the display shows what appears to be a image like a monitor going bad with nothing but colored lines on the screen. it also appears the same in the normal camera view finder how do i fix this?

didnt get dropped that im amware of its a sony dsc-f717 digital camera

sounds like the connector for the sensor inside came loose from the rest of the electronics.........unless you like to mess with this sort of stuff.......i'd recommend a repair shop.


...but that's just my first thought.

wow would u know how to fix it? yea its weird sometimes i have a clear picture but not for very long then it gets all these fuzzy lines back in it and you can see a thing

Sony had this problem a few years back also!! The had an issue with the connection that would deteriorate over time. I would suggest checking with Sony to see if they have a replacement / repair option. I know that back then, since they were aware of it, is was free, free repair and free shipping.
