-the verdict:

They ARE 18x8 which is awesome. Built by Borbet and they are lighter than I expected (the biceps say lighter than my pegs were, but probably only by a pound or two).

The downsides: the center bores are like 63mm and they are ET55. Heres the problem. To work on the 850 I'd need about 20mm spacers up front to clear the brakes, 25-30 in the rear to keep the rear stance from being narrower than the front. The upside is that I probably wouldn't need to mill the center bores with spacers that thick.

downside they only come in silver. Silver looks weird on a yellow imo. So there'd be some additional costs there.

I might order the other 3 eventually and run them on the 245, but for now I'll probably just keep the works on for daily use.

I do too, but was hoping these would make nice DD wheels for cheap. But they dont :(

I think silver looks fine on yellow. Too bad they don't fit with out spacers. I think they look great.

If I had those I would so put the car in the air and slice potatoes with them. :ha:

I'm sure at high speeds they add to the lateral stability of the car...figure those fins are moving a lot of air, on both sides of the vehicle...it's like a bunch of fast moving tiny spoilers that act sideways...
