Well I test fit the odesseus wheel today.

-the verdict:
They ARE 18x8 which is awesome. Built by Borbet and they are lighter than I expected (the biceps say lighter than my pegs were, but probably only by a pound or two).
The downsides: the center bores are like 63mm and they are ET55. Heres the problem. To work on the 850 I'd need about 20mm spacers up front to clear the brakes, 25-30 in the rear to keep the rear stance from being narrower than the front. The upside is that I probably wouldn't need to mill the center bores with spacers that thick.
downside they only come in silver. Silver looks weird on a yellow imo. So there'd be some additional costs there.
I might order the other 3 eventually and run them on the 245, but for now I'll probably just keep the works on for daily use.
