I saw him in La Jolla a few days ago. Good stuff. Couldn't tell if it was the Black Series or not till I hear it take off and I saw the side. Nice.

I would love to buy that car but the pricing is outta control right now..
The car lists for around 135,000 but people are charging anywhere from 10,000 to 35,000 over sticker for it.
I am actually looking at the E55 for myself.. a little more reasonable price point.

If my ship came in tomorrow, that would be one car on my list for sure. Thats what I've always loved about MB, they sure know how to build a hot rod, I wish BMW would try to play catch up, the next M3 has as much torque as my GLI currently has, before I add the turbo back, and as we all know, horsepower sells cars, torque wins races.

So ummmm someone at the recent meet told one of our new employees that the CLK63 black series was a common car everywhere. LOL
So just by chance a friend of ours from MB of SD called in so I asked him the scoop.
From what he has heard there are about 200 of the cars coming to the US total and as of today none of the san diego dealers have got any of the cars to sell. (he asked the sales staff to make sure)

Well...looks like the owner is not going to mod this car. He got a huge offer over what he paid and he is taking it.
