Apple Announcements (Iphone price cut, wifi ipods, etc)

So today was the big apple announcement day people have been buying up stock in anticipation of... not like there hasn't been other stuff making their stock soar.

They announced price cuts on the iphone... 400 bucks instead of 600

They refreshed the ipod product line. They have a new nano and they now have wifi enabled touch screen ipods.

That's about it. The stock dropped because there wasn't more good news but I think it was good enough news for me... I might finally go pick up an ipod. :p

what makes them assholes? just cause they bought an iPhone? im sure people did some stupid shit to get them, but they were in no way short of product or out of stock to warrent stupidity. what did they do? my friend leo just walked in the store asked for it and bought it... no hassle.

not really... you gotta pay for exclusivity. :tup2: it's like people paying outrageous price for the newest cars, or any other new electronics for that matter.
everybody knew the price would drop, it's no surprise.

they were in demand but they were never short. some guy tried to pwn a few of them here for really inflated prices and his sale got quickly bashed because there was no shortage. which is a good thing for apple cause they can meet demand. and the scalpers out there were outta luck. unless the person buying didn't actually check the Apple store and hit ebay right away...

actually the way it worked with the scalpers is they were selling phones with out the 2-yr contract agreement which is great unless u wanted to us ur visual voicemail feature if i had the money i prolly would've bought one too

the new ipod nano looks kind of weird in pictures, but once you see it in real life, its really nice.
