breakfast jacks are good, but the steak & egg burritos are full of delicious, savory goodness. those crunchy hash brown fingers they have now are awesome.
however, nothing can beat a properly made steak & egg burrito from a hole-in-the-wall mexican place (e.g. El Patron in Poway, CA).

Finally! Tiff and i got our first apartment! :D
Got the word earlier today on my way to class from the housing people. These are pretty nice apts behind UCR. everyone around us seems to be college students. rent is like $935. all new appliances, water, gas, (i think electricity is included too). two parking spots (one reserved). 705 square feet? its close as hell to school and work, so now i don't have to keep filling up almost twice a week in my VR :o

Old Man Winter called in sick today...no clouds, no marine layer, nothing to stop me from spending the first half of my Wednesday at the beach skimboarding.
After that, things that are making me happy are: TigerBalm ULTRA strength, a shitload of ice, my electric heating pad, a 6-er of Red Stripe, and 2 hours of nothing before my 1 hour and 20 minute class that lets out at 4:20pm.

i had to pull up next to a cop at the light. He slowed down to watch me pass. At the next light he pulls up next to me and tells me i need to take the tint of my tail light.. its to dark.. lol. I went to palm springs this last weekend and went shopping at the outlets. I found $200 jeans for $40 and I got 4 pair!! I'm satisfied with that!!
I also we to El Paseo (the rodeo Drive of the desert and saw this amazing SL65 V12 Bi-turbo . . . I was spacing at a stop sign and my wife goes . . . wow look at that, then she says "Babe, do you have a hard on?" :D
There were so many nice cars, it was orgasmic!! The New Jag doesn't look half bad, and it looks hella fast too!
Also, first time I've ever seen this group of Dealers . . . Audi, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, Porsche, Rolls-Royce.

I needed to get a 76% on my History Final last night to pass with a 'C'. Today I checked WEBADVISOR for my grade and seen that 'C' staring me in the FACE! . So as of now I have a 3.0 GPA up from a 1.6 from last semester, son!

1. Had to work at the office yesterday...BLAH!
.....But got to leave early! :tup:AND As we were getting ready to leave my co workers surprised me with a stocking full of awesome birthday gifts! (Silly putty, make up, chop sticks, POP CORN! :D and chocolate) It was completely unexpected, but 100% kick ass.
2. Washed my car for the fist time in 6ish weeks! I forgot how shiny black is after you wash it!!! My girl looks gooood...
3. Put her new wheels on...all by myself ;)
4 Had to work at blockbuster last night, too! :(
...BUT when I got to work I had to go talk to the manager in the back and when I got back there....they had decorated the back room for my birthday! I cried. Suuper thoughtful of 'em
...so far this birthday is pretty bad ass!

I got to talk to my whole family on the phone this morning. It was good to hear their voices and I didn't even cry. My mom sent me a picture frame with pictures of her and me in it that says live laugh love on it. Made me shed a tear. It's the most thoughtful present someone has ever sent me.

I got laid off Monday :tdown:
I was stressing about making my rent this week :tdown:
...but I noticed that CHILI'S charged my card THREE times for the lunch my (then) coworkers and I got Monday. Lunch for 10 people adds up, folks! I was beginning to wonder where the F my money went?!!??!
So I called my bank customer service (yaaay for being 24hrs!!) and they're going to refund the money as soon as CHILI'S lets them know it was a mistake. No more stressin' about $ !! :tup::tup::tup:
My rommie and I got pulled over this morning..and didn't get arrested or ticketed!! (I don't know how that happened!!!!!!!!!) :tup2::bowdown:

Ok let's start from the beginning. I was put on a job in downtown SD through my old employer about 3 years ago. I loved the job (engineering position at a high-rise building) but the company I worked for is a horrable mess and I hated them more and more for their incompetence. About a half a year ago I finally had enough and left the company. I did work on my own for the last half year which meant a lot of driving to many different sites and that was pretty tough (moneywise too).
Yesterday I've got a call from the manager of the High-rise building in SD in which I used to work...he was asking me to come back after they have kicked out my old employer.
Today I got my job back..working 50 hrs a week, sufficient cashflow and no sweating or painfull driving in CA anymore.
Downsite..... not much time to work on my car. It's always like that huh? Time= no money, money= no time. I like it better that way though.
Which all you peops have a good weekend... I sure will have:)

What made me mad today?
im selling my old text book, its in generally good condition, a few tears, but its in tact. I was selling it for $80 that about $30 off the new price and about 10 off the used price.
i waited all day for this guy to buy my text book, just as he was about to hand me teh cash, his mom said he should just buy a new book because she didnt like that i lost a useless free tutor trial disc that came with the book and the FIRST and LAST page were coming out.
so instead of asking me (somone that taken the class) whether or not he would need it he asks his mom "what would you do?" and of course she said just buy it new so he'd have that disc....
his mom had no bussiness telling him what to do... you called me about the book...you set up a meeting time... you bailed on the first meeting so i waited and took good time out of my day to hook you up and your just gonna cut me cause your mommy doesnt trust second had text books.
But ofcourse i didnt wanna say anything becaue the guy was with his mom and lilttle sister so i just let it go and hopfully somone buys this thing from me....
