Wholesale tubing benders in Miramar.
Though I have never actually been able to get them on the phone... I suspect they are in the shop and I am too impatient to leave a vmail.

Do you need to buy one or do you need some work done?
That tube bender place in Miramar is not what you are looking for. I've contacted them before. They are not fabrication tube benders. More like electical contractor stuff.
If you need work, I can point you in many different directions depending on what you need done. If you want to buy one, you'll have to get one online and have it shipped. JD2 Benders are pretty much the norm for mandrel benders.

I think American Muffler has one.

I'm looking to have some work done. American muffler only has a crush bender. I need 2 bends put in a 2.75 piece of SS and I'd want it to be seamless so no welding.

What about that shop in Santee?/East County where Jeremy (R32) had his cage done? I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but they do a lot of fab work.

Check with RPM in Vista. It has been a while, and I am not sure if I remember correctly but I thought I was told the owner did work for Baja frames / roll cages in addition to his awesome muffler shop. It's worth a shot.

I just sold one to my buddy.
you might want to call around to any local shop that does bending and see if you could buy thier scrap bends.....i used to work at a shop and some of the bends were wasted bends while setting up machines or extras that we'd put in a section of the shop. Id see people talk to the owner all the time looking for scrap bends---could probably get a couple bends for pretty cheap.

RPM didn't have a mandrel last time I was there... they would weld out of stock bends if they didn't want to crush bend.
I dont know of any shop in San Diego that has one?
but I do know of two places that sell mandrel bent U's in different sizes?

Try Ed Hansen's in Spring Valley. Had my 3 inch exhaust piping done there a while back and it wasn't crush bent.

You should defintely get it done there. A mandrel bender that is capable of 3" is not cheap and most shops won't have one.
