Anyone still going? My co-workers are carvanning (is that even a word?) from Irvine at 9am... breakfast burritos and corona in tow.
Any one suggest a good free vantage point? is anyone paying Grandstand prices?

This is a video i took today at the Red Bull Air Race. This is the pilot Bonhomme on lap 2 of his Quarterfinal run. He won the event today, on his birthday.

Thanks Funk. yeah I would have paid to get in to the Event .. but my excuse is theres this really good Deli on Orange and 2nd in Coronado and I couldnt pass up a pastrami on Rye from there. heheh.
The Pylon hits were my favorite part of the day.

Did you see the 2 guys trying to swim across the bay? One of the guys started to struggle and one of the support boats went out and told him to go back to shore... They wouldn't pick him up... just told him to go back to where he could stand up. He was complaining about how they almost let him drown when he got back to the shore. What a dummy.
Oh.. and I didn't know you couldn't drink beer on the beach at Coronado.
