It's amazing how fast 6 years can go by. I still remember that day very clearly. My Aunt was in the building but was able to get out. We went on a school trip to ground zero a couple weeks afterwards and it was an amazing experience. I'll have to look through my stuff and see if I have any of them here.

I was at work, on the flightline at Barksdale AFB, wondering what was going on. The message was only to clear when they sent me home, told me to pack my bags and sit by the phone. Sad day 6 years ago.

It was a horrible day. Have you ever seen the list of the dead that AP listed on thier website? If you cant calculate the loss, read that, then read the list of the dead from Operation Freedom. The loss of life is staggering.
