Hey everyone! Tab Tuesday in Walnut is still live. Where have you guys been. Euros need to rep hard there. There's about 6 euros and like 50 jdm/imports. WE NEED TO REP HARD FELLAS!

Everyone is real friendly. Instead of standing in one corner, feel free to talk to anyone...especially me! if you don't know anyone there, just look for me...the girl with the silver golf...and i'll introduce you to around. DOn't be shy! Come on out.

Cuz of all the cold shoulders them folks give us out there. I went a few times with a few friends and didn't really feel welcomed. :rolleyes:

it's the Starbucks plaza on Grand Ave. and Valley Blvd., lots cars came out yesterday. :tup: yes, it was cold, but I had fun talking with the guys.

maybe you didn't introduce yourself to anyone. if no one goes up to you, don't hesitate to go up to others. :D if you didn't feel welcome, you prolly went up to the wrong people or you were parked on the wrong side of the lot... :cool:

Nope, we tried saying whats up and they just said hi and sorta kicked us out of their little click by turning their backs on us. I guess if you're not well known, nobody really cares. :tdown:

we had this thing going on, on vortex a week ago or so... lot's of ppl didn't or don't like the walnut gtg... incl. myself. we went there and ppl didn't even respond on us saying Hello, how are you guys. they just looked up in the air. and man it was dark. don't really know what they where trying to find up there :confused:

and yes, the only person we did talk to was you (girl in the silver fahfrohmugen). sorry, I think this is more a Asian v. German car thing. if you don't know them, they don't talk to you or some kind of thing... really didn't feel welcome...

oh yeah, we did walk around! trying to have someone talking to us... no luck really...

OH WELL, that doesn't mean it happens to anybody else that way... according to the post's on vortex. it did happen to a lot of other's like it... :rolleyes:

really?! i'm sorry you guys had such a sour experience at tab. i really don't get a lot of complaints about tab...but for some reason, i get complaints here on socal. there are people on here that are regulars at tab and have found the experience quite enjoyable - a reason why they continue to come week after week. i tried to create an environment where all car enthusiates are welcome to gather in one lot. =/

why not have another crack at it. =)

i think maybe ya all need to sport SoCalEuro tshirts so you can spot the euro peeps ;) haha

I've always felt welcomed... but i never have had a problem going up to people and saying hi. I also have no hate towards japanese cars, long as they keep em clean. Then again, finding out that you have seen many of the people around on surface streets / at shows / at meets makes it kinda cool...

Well it's not so cold outside, and I am in fact at the starbucks on Valley and Grand ave right now. I'll go outside after I finish studying. But so far no vw's just a lot of body kits and limited parking... or at least when I got here (8 pm).

i went at 7.. but it's too cold cuz i only had my SCE shirt on, and i have to study for my classes.. so i left..

i saw the 'G-UNIT' guy though.

Hmm...well I saw an MK3 golf, and a MK4 golf (silver w/wheels, exhaust, grille, etc). Yeah probably best to do it earlier next time or something. It seems crowded in that parking lot though. There was a police car giving a truck a ticket when I left.

argh.... i ended up getting sick after i ate dinner....

the police station is right around the corner, so there are always cops in the area. Just don't do anything stupid and they can't harass you.

it's that time again, folks! i'll be there tomorrow...hopefully i'll remember to wear my socal shirt. i actually came late last week...i came while that cop was giving the truck a ticket. =/

and jacob is right, there are cops there all the time...but they don't say anything. they just want to make sure we're not doing anything stupid. we just have to be civil. =) 2 weeks ago, the only warning we got from the cops were: NO SKATEBOARDING IN THE LOT. that's all.
