What would you think of a law thats states the 7 year itch law?

What's the point?
I don't agree. Just gives the state something else to collect on, like marriage renewal fees.

It's a good idea, I could just see the mass amount of people forgetting to renew and then YEARS later get caught in some legal loop and then because they forget to renew their marriage everything goes down hill....something like that.

This idea, coming from a woman who has been divorced twice? Sure I can see where it didn't work out for her (twce) so maybe it would be easier if she could give it another trial and see if it will work out better the 3rd time. Sure, it fits in with CA's divorce rate, and it would make it a lot easier to end a marriage. But then the kids that come out of these temporary unions would see this as the norm, and pretty soon, 7 years will be considered to be too long. "Mommy and daddy don't really love each other, but in 2-1/2 years, we'll get us a new mommy." Oh, and the custody battles? As tf those weren't bad enouch already.
