Damn, that's horrible.

Sounds like he was well like and will be missed. Surely a tragedy. Hopefully this will make people think twice when they are working on their cars and then it wont be in vain.

A terrible tragedy, I feel sorry for him and his family.

Seriously though, if your going to work under a car, ALWAYS use jack stands. They are dirt cheap at harbor freight, you have no excuse, I have 3 pair. I've seen people using floor jacks, the "widow maker", a bottle jack, WOOD to hold up cars, its just asking for it.

yah. when i have my tires off i lay them under the car by the jack stands as added insurance. we treat our cars as toys but honestly theres alot more to respect there.

That sucks!!!

I make sure to always use jack stands and the jack when possible. I also just picked up a set of Rhino Ramps, only 35.00 at Kragen.

If they're plastic, beware, I had a plastic ramp, brand new, out of the box for 15 minutes, and it cracked...so yeah...METAL JACKSTANDS PEOPLE

Holy shit, that truly sucks ass... What of a shitty way to go, I do believe what wickedgolf said above, "His love was the death of him." just sucks....

However, I guess we should all learn for this tragedy and pass it on to all dubbers.
