new B here, be positive please

my car has 92k miles, 5 speed Man., and the only mod is an aem intake for now

I am planing on cleaning the throttle body, what sould i expect from it and what should i be careful with when doing it?

i usually rev up to 3000 to change gear, does the 2.0 withstand high revs? and how do you drive it?

what sould i consider changing at 92k miles? trans oil? clutch? ect.? i just got it and i dont think my friend had done nothing to it

does anyone have the wiring info of the cd changer wiring?

If not done already, I'd recommend, Timing belt, tensioners, waterpump, and t-stat. I think the early throws of the Timing belt are more a 1.8t thing, but it's still a good idea.

You could probably check vacuum hoses for anything getting brittle or cracked.

There's a couple other VW techs on here, Joe, Carlos, and some others. Hopefully they'll post up some more experienced ideas for you.

well coming from a 2.0 owner (myself) the engine def stands high revs at 80 miles a hour you should be looking at around 4000 rpm.. the motor itself is very strong just not powerful. please feel free to pm me with questions.

make sure u dont move the throttle body plate by hand if u wanna clean it good get a body to hold the throttle pedal while the car is in the on position that way u get in there really good

Yo Creo Que El Motor 2.0lt Es Uno De Los Mejores Motores De La Vw. Ya Que A Mi En Lo Personal No Me A Fallado En Nada Yo Se Que El 1.8 T Es Bueno Pero El 2.0 Lts Tambien Es Bueno

What he said. The 2.0 is Bullet proof man. but change that timing belt before something bad happens. i drive my 2.slow hard because its a car and it can take it, i love my car and i dont care about it bein slow. im low as F^ck and chillin. (1.8t's are faster, but not Bulletproof.)
