Had the chance today to organize the garage today and work on the bikes a bit. Looked at how things were set up and took a pic. So lets see what the rest of you Do It Yourselfers have set up!

Joel, I would have expected a homemade workbench. Are you feeling okay?
On a serious not, does your makita compressor walk? Mine moves around alot when its running. I'm thinking about building a little workstation for it to hold my hoses and nailguns and such but I'm thinking I'm going to need to strap it down.
All my stuff is shoved in my parents garage so I'm not even going to bother posting. This condo living is killing me. I need to hurry up and buy some land and build a house.

I was going to build one but then I got a deal I couldn't pass up on. My compressor will walk sometimes if I have it on the vct but on the particle board it doesn't move much if at all. I still need to make a manifold to keep my air drier and lubrication and such.

I miss my shop in NY. Here I have no where to work on my car other than a parking lot.

I miss that place. Right before I left they moved to an even better place. 24 hour access, lift access paint booth and all for only $75 a month. The new place has two lifts a wash bay, a paint booth and it's all local vw owners. The place I was at was mostly muscle cars but they were all real cool guys and always willing to lend a hand when you were doing something big. When I pulled my motor one of the guys came over and double checked everything for me to give me some piece of mind. My best friends were at the same shop so we spent many a night sleeping on the couch covered in oil and grease because we had been there so long.

I'll get pics of mine up soon. The garage is still a little cluttered from the move.
