ok i have project due for my information management class and well i don't know too much about software packages or computing devices so i am going to post the instructions and i was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction with some ideas or websites i can go to to complete this project. thanks.
instructions read : you will need to prepare a comparision of 3 software packages or similar functionality (i.e. word processors), -or- 4 computing devices of similar design (i.e. 4 laptops of equal configuration, different manufacturers). Tell me what they consist of , which you would choose, and why. I am looking for a competative analysis between products, make sure they are of the same type/ function.
well those are the instructions if you could help me out by recommending what 4 lap labtops to investigate that are the same type/function i would appreciate it. i don't really know how you to look at the same type/function. and no the teacher won't return my emails with my quesitons.

(Moved to geek talk 'cause we don't have a "Do my homework for me" forum)

Go onto bestbuy.com and pick 4 computers with the same processor....

All you have to do is compare things that do the same function.
Thats all the help you're getting out of me because this really is a "do my homework" question. I don't mind helping people with the hard bits but I have to at least have the feeling you made some sort of attempt on your own first. You're post doesn't give me that feeling.

not lookign for anyone to do my homework. i just get really confused when it comes to processors memory and the specs of computers. i know how to use them but i don't know the things to compare on the physical nature of them. i wanted some technical people to just help me out on maybe what a magazine would compare on likei dunno memory or screen size. more or less what does teh computer industry compare.

Laptops: All of them are expensive, depreciate tremendously, and do nothing but give you the feeling that you're saving time.
