View Full Version : new fogs, what do you think?

so im buddy hooked me up with these high intensity fog lights that he gets from job for free. so today after school i spent almost 3hours trying to figure out how to get them to fit in the factory fog holes. they fit in the holes perfect but there was no way for me to mount them. so finally i cut out to grill slots and bolted them up. i happen to like them, i know others wont (xtina, "cough cough"):D they're way brighter then the stock ones, and both the bulbs in the stock fogs were blown.

jwill, jb weld, hell no!, str8 lines not up close, but they're good enough. dude some girl hit my dads car just a little while ago:mad::(

I see. Well, just because it's your mom's doesn't mean it has to stay stock. LOL. I installed an aFe Intake on my mom's X3 and did those vinyl roundel overlays too. :D

compared to the huge Hella 500's I'm going to be strapping to the front of my itty bitty rabbit soon :)

just cant decide if I want the regular whites, yellow fogs, or these nifty "Black Magic" versions that are black when not in use, but are bright as hell when lit

ya, but those lights are fucked up anyways, im getting angel eyes at the end of the month. and no im not going to do the tape thing to them:D


oc-audica, i take it that you dont like my fogs, but that wasnt very nice:(:D lol na thats cool if u dont like'em.

I often worry about large trucks/SUV's not being able to see my tiny car at night...this might not solve that problem since they'll be partially blinded, but I'll be able to see THEM way before they even get close :)

I can't wait til I have all of my aux. lighting installed and running...it's gonna look like the UFO chase scene from Close Encounters of the 3rd kind whenever I go through a nice twisty section ;)

oh, and IMHO, "Angel Eye" style lights were developed by BMW, and as such, have absolutely NO BUSINESS being on a VW...it screams cheap, even if they did cost you hundreds of dollars.

actually there only $170 :D i like them:tup: im trying to be like the rest of the cars at my house, all bimmer and 1 volks
