the only downside to playing the Wii is if you're standing up. Being a DLP I have the TV height set at couch level not standing level. :P

No, DLP with LED illumination. Instead of a regular Metal Halide bulb and color to use for projection, it uses a series of red, green, and blue LEDs. This minimizes the "rainbow effect"

See Creaniums explanation. But DLP's use to use a color wheel and now some are using LEDs instead of a color wheel.

BestBuy. 1180 shipped for TV (50" Sammy DLP 720P) + Xbox 360 (standard) + halo3.

Sold the Xbox and Halo for 300 bucks to a friend, TV = 880 :D

actually 4... but what can we do? its a great TV. however i paid about 2 times what paul did about 5-6 months ago... oh well...
