mk4 a/c question

i have a manual a/c, if i want to get a digital a/c, is it plug and play or does it have a diferent a/c harness? and does anyone sell a converter for that?

"Digital a/c" is called climatronic on the Vw's. Iv'e seen a couple kits on the vortex selling for around 300. Search around there are a couple of DIY and from the looks of it its a bitch to do and not worth the time. Its not a simple plug and play...servos, diff harnesses etc......

It's not worth it as it is a time consuming tedious bitch of a process and most people who have done it say it's not worth it in the end and wish they never did it.

yea you have to swap the whole setup, but i do think its worth it.... its a really nice upgrade

As people said it is a ton of work to do but I have it albeit my car came with it and I like it.
