Found this on Vortex today... It's pretty damned crazy... It's the same price as the SLC Corrado i'm picking up in Colorado at the end of this month... I don't want to shaft the owner of the Corrado i'm buying for this car. Not to mention this car is on the East coast.. CO is a long drive, CT is farther.

Man pick this one up, that is so damn clean I might crap my pants. It woudl be worth a plane ticket over and a drive back. Jesus it's so freakin' clean.
Nice find, too bad it's a G60.
I wouldn't give 1/3 of the asking price for that car, its still 17 years old, but once you start driving it, it will leak oil from everything, cooling system and brakes will need to be redone, its a museum piece at this point. Sitting does far more damage to a car then driving, all its seals in the motor and gearbox are dried up, probably needs all of the recalls (which VW will still do for free) All the problems that would have been fixed under warranty, like the main bearings, have never been done.
There was a guy in CT selling a 95 GTI VR6 with roughly the same or less mileage, I wonder if its the same guy. Alot of times, owners of dealers will get cars like this and keep them in their private collection to gather dust and rot, then sell them later when they are bored of them, need money or die off. The owner of the dealer where I work ha 30 or so collector cars, including a 3.0CSL, 2 Z8's (one Alpina, one regular), Isetta, 2002tii, 320i, 635csi, along with a ton of american iron (or several tons).

Yeah, if it was a SLC... I would have returned the tickets to Colorado and start re-packing for CT.

Yeah.. G60s are pretty sweet, but I probably will have a hard time keeping up with a SLC as it is. G60s are far more cheaper to buy, but far more expensive to upkeep. The G-Lader... oh boy lol.

yea, but for some reason i like more the g60 motor (with a lysholm charger) , i only want the interior from a slc for my corrado

Hmmm how hard is it to own a lysholm here in Cali... If it's not kept quiet.. people will think Transformers is coming to their city when you pass by. But seriously.... How much trouble or how big of a fine could one with a lysholm get into here?

Umm Garage... This car seems to have been taken out one a week or month and used as a little cruiser. True Garage Queen status.
Hutizi you have more cars than me!
First time I ever heard a Lysholm, I thought it was seizing a bearing and the charger was about to grenade, and an ambulance was pulling into the parking lot!

Yeah, a SLC = a VR6 and a G60 is a 8v with a G60 Supercharger.

On the subject, anybody know where to find a decently priced Lysholm charger?
