I've finally decided with a set of coilovers. Now i just need to know the cheapest prices available.
So i would greatly appreciate it if anyone could suggest companies with the best price.
The cheapest I've found so far are right abound $1400.
Thanks,
Ken

Oh yea, also if you are planning on tracking your car then it makes sense to get the V2's or even the V3's otherwise, I would get V1's. I bought V1's with the intention NOT to autocross, but as you saw at Dubfest this year I did autocross and wished I had the additional dampening adjustability. So just something to keep in mind. If Rezie cant hook you up try Mike at Pure MS, also a forum sponsor.

I plan on tracking it about once or twice a month once my suspension is fully done. After seeing Andy and a few others do it at dubfest, seems like alot of fun. So i would definitely get v2s or v3s. I thought about H & R, Bilstein, etc. But i really like what ive read about KW. So I would like to stick with the KW V2s.

Bilstein Pss9!!
LOL. Those are a close 2nd. I think the KW have the ability to sit alittle lower then pss9s. I could be wrong, someone plz corect me if i am wrong.
Because im goin to keep my stock 17" long beaches, they grew on me so ima need my coilover to sit prtty low, and i believe the v2s can sit as low as 2.5" or was it 2.8" one of them.

Most people that I've ever talked to with the Bilsteins weren't happy with the amount of drop. I believe it had plenty in the rear, but not nearly enough adjustment in the front. It was one way or another. The KW's are great. I have them on my MKV and I had them on my Audi. And like some others have said, if you don't plan on racing competitively enough where you'll be changing settings often, just get the V1's. They let you set the height you want and that may be all you need. Especially considering the rears are typically not externally adjustable.

PSS 9 System
The Bilstein PSS 9 Suspension provides the ultimate in performance tuning. The fully-adjustable monotube gas shock absorbers offer a selection of nine precise compression and rebound settings, from comfort to competition. The front and rear progressive rate springs allow accurate adjustment of the vehicle ride height and center of gravity for the level of performance you seek.
Now you can enjoy the kind of precise suspension tuning formerly available only on race cars. The PSS 9 system puts you in complete control. Whether it's a weekend of competition or the daily commute, absolute handling and control are just a few twists away.
i have Pss9s i love em..... but theyre a lil pricey

It all depends what you're looking to get out of a set of coilovers. I'm not likely to race my MKV. Even if I did AutoX occaisionally, it wouldn't be enough that I'd want to be pulling rear shocks and adjusting them all the time. I just want to get the ride height perfect, therefore the KW V1's are perfect. The prices is good too. If you want better bang for your buck, I believe you can get the Tein Basics on the MKIV (not 100% positive). They are much cheaper than either the KW's or the Bilsteins and I had them on my G35 and they were great.
To the original poster, the best thing to do first is determine what you want the coilovers for and what the use will be. The best products for you will vary from there. Anything as inexpensive as the Teins, or I see those VMAXX coilovers on the Tex all the time, up to some crazy full race Stasis setup.

I believe i stated it a few posts up. I do plan on tracking it about once or twice a month. So some adjustability would be nice. If the V1s can withstand a few trips to the track a month, id get em.
But Ive heard a few people say that they wish they had the adjustability during an autocross event.
I need looks AND functionality :)

If you want adjustability, don't waste your time with V2's, you can only tune one of the damper circuits; a waste of time. Get the V3's and you can adjust both, which is what you have to be able to do if you really want to tune your suspension.

I was waiting for this spiel :D:D:D also do you really need to go that extra 1" or so? I think when you install them and they settle you will be raising them so the ride is not too harsh.

Yea people say that on the Tex ALL the time. Im not gonna be tracking her that much. V3s are overkill imo.
I just need enough adjustability to hit the track maybe once or twice a month

I'll be going with KW V2s in the near future. I already have springs so I'll be spending some money on some other things before I get coils.

thats still alot of tracking. i have H&R coils, and i rarely track.. but i dont have any complaints about em.. you also seen me toss my car around at dubfest.
after you get your coils, finish the rest of the suspension work with the swaybars and stress bars.
