Single action is fantastic, trigger reset is very close to point of release. very nice. Double action is lighter, but not by a lot. It's a good deal smoother though for sure. DA can't be as light since I shoot winchester and their primers need a more solid impact to go off.

Can't wait to test it at the range this weekend

You are a very bad influence!

I want to get a 226 for IDPA but I've been spending too much on hobbies lately and Susan would use it on me before I ever made it out.

Not a bad way to refurb a gun that has close to 20,000 round through it in its first year, lol. No more Stock Service Pistol for you!

What range are you heading to Paul? I need to put a box of rounds through my new addition as well.

It'll be American shooting center in Kearny Mesa near fusion.

And Kerry still SSP ;) All modifications are legal for SSP! BOOYAH

Do it, buy one. You know you want to. If she's gonna use it on you, keep the first couple rounds as blanks so you have a chance to run!

You should try out Matt's CZ's. They're a lower profile slide than the Sig so less flip. I personally can shoot a CZ faster and more accurate than my SIG (One of his near stock ones, modded ones are extremely fast).
