I was just wondering... I like that old skool look on cars... you know, when they have like 15"s or 16"s... like the bbs rs or axis old skools...
I would want to go for that look on my car, but I'm just wondering if there would
be a problem with my car... I have an mk iv gli (2005) and those came stock with 18" bbs rc's and I have also lowered my car with a a bilstein and h & r springs setup...
Can anyone let me know if this would be a problem... Thanks.

Nah I don't think that would be a problem... well probably 15's would be too small. but 16's are fine... for example... i also like the old skool small wheel set ups of old cars and was worried a bit when i bought my mkv and i took a risk bought some keskin kt1s in 16 and i think it looks great.
if you are talking about if it would fit... its all about bolt pattern and offsets ;) and if you a have a BBK

so, probably 17's would be a better setup? If so what size tires should I run.

what tire setup did you run on those wheels?
depends on the size/width of the wheels, whether you want a stretched look
heres mine, btw the wheels are for sale

koni coilovers and 215/45 up front and 235/45 in the back in 17"
17x7.75 et 35 front and 17x9.5 et 19 rear

did you use spacers or something in the back? It looks to be wider.
all the info is in my fs thread posted earlier and all the specs are just above your question.......wheels are staggared in offsets and widths
