View Full Version : One owner 90 GLI for sale, immaculate!
Ok so a customer of ours has decided to sell his 90 16V GLI, Immaculate doesn't even descride this car, not a door ding scratch nothing. He bought it new at Timmons in LB and still has the window sticker and a 2 inch thick book of recipts! It is Tornado Red with the Grey velour interior and the big reccaros. it needs the headliner redone and there is the typical recarro bolster wear but only the padding the cover is ok. the BBS baskets are flawless and he has new falkens on it. the car is stock height but has adjustable Tokicos. I took it around the block and its quiet inside (none of the typical MK2 rattles) and runs like a champ. However it needs a new master cylinder (he has the new one in the trunk) valve cover gasket, A/c blows Ice cold and has run all synthetics in the drivetrain since new. You will never find one this clean anywhere, anything this car has ever needed its gotten. he's selling it to buy a truck he needs for his Harleys and the price hes asking is $4000. I was going to buy it, but those of you who know me realize I need another car like a hole in the head so I figured I'd pass it along to you guys so it dosent end up in some 17 yearold kids hands as his training wheels. so PM me and I'll give you his # I'll post up pics later as my Imagestaion account sux, or I can email them to you.

$4000 is a lil much, let me know if he is willing to drop the price down around $3000. I have a friend interested...
I already tried $3000, he knows what he has, he'll negotiate from $4000, but its close to you Pat, Valley View and Chapman. Its seriously worth a look,

one of you Volkswaffe guys are gonna buy it? I'm glad to see its going to a good home, you guys will take good care of it.
I'm lucky I decided not to buy it, I just had a deal soooo sweet just fall in my lap today! Its a pristine 86 911 Targa black/black with rare factory turbo seats that broke a rocker arm and needs a top end overhaul. priced a little more than that jetta. if it was running its worth around $20K, I'll keep you guys posted on this one.

Checked the car out today, nice guy. It is in amazing condition except for some nagging problems. Master cylinder needs to be replaced as stated, but a new one is included with the purchase of the car. Headliner will need to be replaced along with some small interior peices. Valve cover is leaking and exhaust might need to be replaced in the near future. It has fresh tires and brake pads. All in all the car is very nice but 4 thousand seems a tad bit too much, but it really just comes down to what you want. :)
Owner is a kick ass guy.

He is pretty stubborn and set on 4k. I am not talking to him because it isnt my sale, im kind of the advisor for the guy buying. So, it is up to them to meet somewhere they feel satisfactory if the buyer is interested enough. :)
