Did you follow TO THE LETTER the Bentley steps for tranny flush??? If you didn't, I'd redo it all from the start

that trans should NEVER EVER be flushed or have its filter changed, its a temperamental bastard on a good day. Check the cable where it hooks up to the box. If nothing VAG it.

Not to bash, but I've hear some funky things about them. Gotta agree with Mike. You've got a ticking time bomb there mang. Good luck getting it all straight though

Box meaning gearBOX, your tranny may be toast, or it could be something as simple as the shift cable out of adjustment from your motor replacement, or its in failsafe, which is generally 3rd gear due to a fault, could be a number of things, if it was working fine before, then you put your car back together and its stuck in a gear, more than likely its just a small issue of a setting or adjustment.

I think I found the problem on VORTEX, I guess ppl that have done motor/ tranny swaps, go into LIMP mode and you have to use a VAG-com to re set the code. Guys please say this works or else imma push my car off a cliff hahaahaha
