So my fiance and i were looking around for a place for our wedding.
so far we've checked out OCMA for a loft style wedding which is really cool.
and some cruise wedding which i'm not too crazy about.
any of you guys have any suggestion or inputs?
we want a simple yet modern place and not too crazy $$$
the wedding is still gonna be next year though...
here are pics from Orange County Museum of Arts(my first choice so far)

we want our wedding to be really special, i mean it's a one time thing for us...we don't believe in vegas weddings or "county" weddings.
and yeah, i'm not really feeling that cruise wedding either, my families are always late, i don't want them to be late and miss our wedding LOL

First of all congratulations.
I just got engaged on the 10th so my fiance and I are looking around as well. So far we have only checked out The Grand in Long Beach. It is nice, but I think kind of expensive for what you get. We are looking at a pretty small wedding, less than 100 people and we were still looking at 10grand once you get food and drinks and chairs and on and on.....
We are really thinking about Disneyland, which is were I proposed. At first, we thought it sounded expensive but after looking at other places, it seems like it will only be about a thousand more, and in the grand scheme of things another thousand bucks is nothing.
We are also considering the OCMA. Most of the museums in the area have rooms availalbe. We even thought about the Petersen, but don't really want our ceremony to be up in LA, we would like to stick to OC.

Looks nice! Whatever you choose, make sure you're choosing it for you and your spouse. And if it feels right, go for it!
