My gf and I went to the lake by our house and i took some shots of the fire. So many people were out looking.

but this thing sucks dude.
woke up at 8am, looked out the window and it feels like 5pm...but worse, ash all over the place...
is this the biggest fire so far for So-Cal? i'm kinda new arround here

definitely

in San Diego, in 2003, the Cedar Fire was the worse in California history

now this one is supposally 10x worse

and thats only counting the San Diego fires because SD has it the worst

thank you. :) yeah it really does. my gf and i just woke up and we feel like we didn't even sleep at all. this crap needs to stop. i hope everyone from sce and everyone else is ok. i know there is a shelter at a few places in OC for SD people to stay.

Great shots bro, there were peeps chillin at the dead end I was @ last night too...theres no wind right now which could be a good thing for us here.

One of my good friends lives in Modjeska Canyon, this thing was on his street...don't know if his house is still there or not.

Grandparents house in Arrowhead is under threat from two different fires, Running Springs Fire and Lake Arrowhead fire.

Helped my friend Evac his dads house in Chula Vista yesterday for some extra good karma in my life..maybe it'll help some of my peeps out

I was going to Casa Franco last night, right next door ro our Denny's spot, and the Hills behind it, Im guessing up by Trabuco? I didn't go up since I'm sure there are plenty of people up there already.

Thank you. In San Diego or Murietta? Yeah the lack of wind is definitely going to be a big help. :) Now all we need is some rain!

That sucks Brad. Hope your buddy and grandparents are alright. That's rad of you to help your friend too.

my boys clutch went out on alicia after work so we were here til about 8 - while pulled over we seen a few families with car loads of stuff - guessing they are evacuees. Everyone needs to stay safe man -

Damn, you should have found me! hah That sucks about you guys being stranded. Yeah I believe everyone is ok. I know 5 people died in other areas though. I feel for them and their families.

I love taking pictures and that was a beautiful yet tragic sight. Damn cell phones!

It was fun being semi-stranded

I had my car too =) so we got some subway and kicked it in a little ditch up the hillside before Olymiad, waiting for the 2 tow trucks (forgot to ask for a flat bed)

So anyways back to the fire - what we have going on seems like nothing compared to how intense it is in SD, but it's crazy right now I can see the Santiago hillside blazing from my cubicle =\
