about going custom: yeah everyone says the same thing... but im not really sure how to go about it. ive heard several different things, and all in all i just feel better about a prefab because theyre not only is the R&D more reliable, but its also covered by warrenty...
Props on having the same bday :) :)
hahah yeah, and i guess im allowed to drive for now... my court date hasnt been set yet thank god. ugg, im going to be so screwed though....

seriously, the last girl I heard of that was driving her Audi in such a manner wound up wrapped around a streetlight up in costa mesa....dead.
Doesn't even have a court date for the felony speeding, and is already looking for performance parts.

i wouldn't think warranty would be an issue for an exhaust since most breaks would be consider wear and tear plus any muffler shop can fix leaks and such anyway i assume u have a downpipe or testpipe so a cat back exhaust with mandrel bent piping shouldn't cost between $100-$200 dollars less if u can get a hook up also any muffler shop can fab an exhaust for u but u have to make sure u ask for mandrel bent cuz alot of shops dont have mandrel benders but instead will order U bends to take care of that problem

best deal for magnaflows are with aj-usa
brad and girard work there; they are users here!

i didnt see anything for audi, only porsche and BMW

well you said mufflers. i assumed you wanted universal ones... if so they should have a section for that on aj-usa. ask around the Audi boards to see what # people use for the mufflers.
if you want the entire magnaflow system thats different!
if they make a kit for the A4 send me a product number - I work down the street from magnaflow hq and know a couple people there and can get anything they have.

so this is what i think ive decided what i wanna do. im going to get a custom exhaust... im going to use my stock mufflers then im going to remove the resonaters, see how it sounds, if it sounds bad, add a magnaflow resonator to the middle piece. that's pretty much it. i guess that's all i need if i want sound. supposivly ill get same if not more power than an aftermarket setup. on top of all that, it will be that much cheaper and my TestPipe will give me all the extra HP i could get http://www.eurotrashsd.com/forum/Smileys/default/smiley.gif

Tina, I have a friend who has a business license and since he knows Troy personally he can anything for about 40-60% off what the cheapest places sell for, give or take. I can talk to him and see what he can do for a price, and he'll do a non-profit sale since you know me.;)
