so i was driving somewhere and i stop at a light. then i see my check engine light comes on, so i say to myself "whats the matter now?" then it turns green, and i TRY to go.. and ride gets very laggy and shaky. im trying to figure out what, but i cant. when i give it gas, there is a HUGE lag to give it speed. also, the ride isnt smooth anymore. seems like i lost a lot of power. im guessing spark plug or motor mount? maybe one of 234234 sensors for th ///m? it was kinda late for me to take the car in to the shop, so its just garaged for now. no more driving daisy till the problems fixed :( thanks in advanced for the input.

thats not bad of an issue compared to what other issues ;)
but for future, id start talking to www.extremems.com (http://www.extremems.com) ... those guys are pretty cool, and i think they know the M3's pretty well
they are BMW/Porsche shop, mainly maintenance work
if your up NorCounty, then www.samtechauto.com (http://www.samtechauto.com) might be closer, those guys are good too

always good to know a good independent shop to help with the car
and prices are way better than dealerships ... plus, thoese 2 shops, you can get to know them ... they help ya out

theres a SIB covering the Bremi coils 12 24 05 so if you go to a dealer it should be a free job. theres a thread with the actual SIB http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showpost.php?p=2230897&postcount=5
Bulletins only apply to your car if its under warranty from the factory. CPO doesn't cover bulletins. If your car is under warrant, great, CPO we can usually word the story to cover them, if not the bulletin only extends it to 8 years or 80K miles, after that forget it. You also do plugs on that motor at the INSPII. If you have to pay for it, do all six coils and bite the bullet, don't just replace the current bad one.

well. took my shop to "import auto services" - imad down in satee. he's a very honest mech, really knows his stuff. he usually works on euro cars. replaced all coils, car runs VERY strong now.
